Urtzi Alfaro

Founder & CEO at Urulp. My passion is helping people and companies to grow (either by international business acumen, technological knowledge, or personal empowerment), and this is exactly what I do.

I currently develop my activity in two ways:

1- Supporting organizations in the development of new business areas and/or the adaptation of new economic strategies for this ever-changing world.

2- Advising entrepreneurs and executives in how to take actions more effectively, make better decisions, refine growth strategies and capitalize on opportunities that enrich human capital assets and strengthen business performance

Before founding Urulp, I have been working in an international environment for more than 10 years in various positions, including a long career leading innovative and highly technological global projects in startups and multinational corporations. During all those years, I developed my career mainly in the UK – London & Cambridge – in positions that required dealing with clients and partners located from the USA, through Europe, to China. In all those positions, I had the opportunity to lead various work teams, analysing a wide range of transactions in several sectors, and developing solid business acumen and capabilities in all aspects of strategy, sales, technology, marketing, operations and finance. In recent years, I have founded a company, Urulp, to help organizations with their business transformation and growth.

I graduated from Mondragon University as a Telecommunications Engineer in 2013 with an exchange year in the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland.

I speak 5 languages: Basque, Spanish, English, French and Chinese. Beyond the entrepreneurial and business spirit, I am an enthusiastic world traveller, photographer and storyteller. I am passionate about geopolitics, strategy, technology and global economy.

I look forward to connecting with you on LinkedIn or you can email me at urtzi.alfaro@urulp.com
